About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Atlassian Developer to support a major programme within the public sector. The ideal candidate will play a key role in restructuring Confluence pages, ensuring a well-organized and efficient content governance model. This position requires occasional visits to client sites in London, Croydon, Birmingham, and Manchester, working closely with stakeholders to develop a structured and scalable Confluence environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and develop a landing page for the Confluence space.
- Standardise Confluence structures for each team, transferring existing data and identifying gaps.
- Integrate Confluence with Jira, optimising workflow automation and reporting.
- Develop advanced Confluence macros, templates, and space customisations to improve usability.
- Implement content governance models and structured information architecture to ensure consistency.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define and get sign-off on content addition and archiving processes.
- Ensure compliance and security standards are maintained across Confluence spaces.
- Leverage the Confluence API for automation and workflow enhancements.
- Delete outdated content based on defined criteria.
Key Requirements
✅ Proven experience as an Atlassian Developer, with a strong focus on Confluence.
✅ Hands-on experience with Confluence Data Center (understanding SAAS vs. On-Premise differences).
✅ Expertise in advanced Confluence macros, templates, and automation.
✅ Strong knowledge of Confluence API and integration with Jira.
✅ Experience in content governance models and structured information architecture.
✅ SC Clearance required (must be active).
