Senior Associate – Transfer Agency
Krypton Fund Services is a global fund administration company seeking individuals that are flexible, professionally minded, and committed. We provide a full suite of services to the global alternative investment community through technical expertise and a high-touch service model. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills and will be responsible for timely service delivery to clients and management of a team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Process and review investor capital activity documents and follow up with investors for missing information.
- Perform anti-money laundering checks and review investors' due diligence and KYC documents.
- Monitor and reconcile money movement associated with capital activity.
- Send reports, such as contract notes and statements, to investors and clients.
- Build and maintain client relationships and act as an escalation point when the Account Manager is unavailable.
- Proactively manage the team’s daily workflow and meet set deadlines.
- Work closely with the Account Managers to ensure timely and accurate servicing of client requests and ongoing adherence to procedures and processes.
- Assist with distributing K-1s and audited financial statements, answering auditor questions, and processing audit confirmations.
- Ability to review and understand offering documents, such as LPA and PPM, for hedge and private equity funds.
- Ability and comfort with recommending process improvements
- Handle ad hoc investor queries.
- Process wire payments and maintain investor wire instructions on multiple banking systems.
- Train new team members.
Qualifications Required:
- 3-5 years of experience in a shareholder services environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new applications.
- Must have a high level of attention to detail and organization skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing numerous projects and clients.
- Experience communicating effectively and problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative while being a team player.
- The ideal candidate will have experience with hedge funds, private equity funds, and the alternative investment space.
