About the Role


We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Senior Associate to join our Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice. This is a key execution role in client engagements, responsible for conducting rigorous financial analysis, supporting due diligence reporting, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality results. Reporting to a Vice President or Director, this role is ideal for individuals with 1–3 years of experience in audit, financial due diligence, or financial services, who thrive in a high-performance, collaborative environment.


What You'll Do

  • Execute key components of financial due diligence engagements alongside Vice Presidents and Directors.
  • Process and analyze large datasets to build out accurate and well-formatted databooks.
  • Perform key analyses, including proof of cash, balance sheet reviews, vendor and payroll reviews, and revenue/profitability analysis.
  • Identify and quantify the quality of earnings and net working capital adjustments.
  • Draft financial due diligence reports and collaborate on revisions based on internal feedback.
  • Own the data room, tracking incoming and outstanding documentation with precision.
  • Build trending exhibits and prepare accounting and financial questions for client discussions.
  • Ensure error-free work through thorough self-review and internalize feedback to improve continually.
  • Support internal initiatives when not staffed on engagements (peer coaching, recruiting, practice development, etc.).
  • Track all activity and communications via Salesforce and leverage firm tools to work efficiently.

Ideally, You Have

  • 1–3 years of experience in audit, transaction services, or related financial services.
  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business; CPA licensed or actively pursuing preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex datasets with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Strong Excel and data organization skills; meticulous attention to detail.
  • A proven ability to synthesize large amounts of financial data into meaningful conclusions.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple workstreams.

Compensation and Benefits


This position has an expected annual base salary range of $95,000 – $125,000. Final compensation will be based on experience, education, skills, and qualifications. In addition to base salary, employees may be eligible for a performance-based bonus. Intrinsic offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) plan with employer contribution; paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, and company holidays; paid parental leave; flexible work arrangements; and ongoing professional development support. All full-time employees are eligible for these benefits.
