Senior Associate, Project Manager
Capital One Compliance and Ethics (C&E) organization is seeking a Senior Associate, Project Manager for our newly forming Core Data Program. As part of this program, we will centralize data change management interactions with upstream data producers to make change more transparent to our downstream consumers.
Are you passionate about leading change and driving transformation? In this role, you will be the linchpin that connects our product teams, stakeholders, and end-users, ensuring seamless project execution and effective change management. You will maintain a bird's-eye view of the program status, navigate complex challenges and play a pivotal role in transforming our data change management.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Program Oversight: Develop and maintain a comprehensive view of program status, key milestones, and risks and provide clear visibility to senior leadership and stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision making
  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with product teams to align on road mapping, resourcing and delivery timelines and ensure project goals are in sync with broader program level objectives
  • Transformation Catalyst: Be the driver of transformation, challenging status quo and identifying opportunities to enhance our delivery processes; leverage industry best practices to implement innovative solutions that create value and mitigate risks
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels and facilitate discussions, manage expectations and ensure alignment across cross - functional teams
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate program performance; identify areas of improvement and implement changes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of project management experience
  • At least 2 years of program management experience
  • At least 2 years of risk management experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
  • 3+ years of data analysis experience
  • 1+ years of experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
