Your Role:

To ensure successful delivery of new private markets product launches and product change initiatives with an emphasis on technical, structural, regulatory, tax, customer channels, disclosures and operational items, whilst managing internal governance and key stakeholder relationships.

What you will be doing:

  • To independent project manage private market product initiatives from design and approval through to implementation in conjunction with all key business partners.

  • To contribute across all phases of the Product Development Lifecycle with an emphasis on technical, structural, regulatory, tax, customer channels, disclosures and operational business case inputs.

  • Manage internal governance as required (adhering to the requirements of various committees, boards, product development lifecycle and policies and procedures).

  • To successfully manage any issues and risks relating to each product initiative.

  • To manage expectations and escalate any potential delays, issues and/or risks.

  • Relationship building - Develop close working relationships with key stakeholders both within the business (e.g. Investments, Distribution, Control Functions & Operations) and within key counterparts to resolve barriers to the successful achievement of agreed projects.

  • Help drive the team to achieve its strategic goals and contribute to team strategy.  Contribute to the development Invesco EMEA’s role within our Global Private Markets Product function.

  • To take on significant ad hoc projects as required with respect to technical or product related regulatory change and develop end to end solutions to support business needs.

  • Ensure all activities are in line with Invesco’s Conduct principles

What you will bring:

  • Prior experience within the investment management sector and/or financial services industry within a product or related function
    Prior experience with Private Markets product structuring and/or product management

  • Understanding of fund structures, governance, and regulatory frameworks.

  • In depth knowledge of financial markets with investment experience a plus

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, & PowerPoint

  • Familiar with third party data providers

  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills

  • PRINCE2, Agile or another project management accreditation desirable but not essential

  • Educated to Master’s degree level or equivalent from recognised university and/or CFA would be preferable, ideally with finance, mathematics, engineering or economic qualifications

  • Self-motivated and a desire to succeed with a results-based orientation
