SWIFT Message Processing & Management:
· Handle a wide range of SWIFT message types, including MT101, MT202, MT103, MT199, MT292, MT295, MT195, MT910, MT940.
· Ensure the correct processing, transmission, and receipt of messages.
· Analyze and resolve issues related to SWIFT messages, including message content discrepancies, formatting errors, and transmission delays.
· Managing Swift Payments and ability to track status of payments.
Reconciliation:
· Manage daily reconciliation of Ledgers & Statements ensuring the entries are matched correctly and any unreconciled entries are escalated for resolution.
· Ensure all deposits and withdrawals are properly accounted for and recorded in a timely manner.
· Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between cash balances and recorded transactions.
· Investigate Return of funds and recall requests.
· Interacting with correspondent bank to resolve statement related breaks.
· Thorough understanding about journal entry postings.
· Awareness about advanced excel shortcuts & formulas
Field Interpretation and Customization:
· Interpret and modify SWIFT message fields as per internal or regulatory requirements.
Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:
· Provide troubleshooting and resolution support for SWIFT message errors.
Collaborate with internal teams and SWIFT support to resolve issues promptly.
Requirements
Experience:
· Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience working with SWIFT messaging systems
· Experience in managing a team.
· Strong expertise in SWIFT messages (MT101, MT202, MT103, MT199, MT292, MT295, MT195, MT910, MT940).
· Deep understanding of the Swift fields & payment formatting requirements for currencies.
· Experience with SWIFT broadcast services and network connectivity management.
Technical Skills:
· Familiarity with SWIFT Alliance, SWIFTNet, and related SWIFT messaging platforms.
· Understanding of financial industry standards, regulations, and protocols related to SWIFT.
· Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting SWIFT message data and fields.
Education:
· A degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Desired Skills:
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Eye for detail and ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
· Accurately performing tasks along with multi-tasking skills.
· Willing to work from office on all 5 days
· Primarily UK shift but should be Open to all shifts (including Night shifts)
