- Provide L2 production support for Wealth applications, ensuring high availability, stability, and minimal downtime.
- Monitor system health, performance, and capacity using enterprise monitoring tools, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
- Lead incident management processes, performing rapid root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing permanent fixes to prevent recurrence.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks and reduce toil using scripting and automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to deploy updates, patches, and new releases safely into production environments.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in disaster recovery (DR) drills and business continuity planning (BCP) activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in L2 production support, specifically supporting Banca and Trading applications within a financial services environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with operating systems (Linux/Unix, Windows) and database technologies (SQL, Oracle, or NoSQL).
- Proficiency in scripting (such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation and monitoring.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (such as Geneos, Splunk, Grafana, or AppDynamics).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills under high-pressure production environments.
- Availability to support rotational on-call schedules as required.
