Playing a dual portfolio as a Human Resources Business Partner for designated business units, you will also partner closely with line managers to support organizational effectiveness, talent management, and employee relations, ensuring alignment between HR initiatives and business objectivesThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, international environment where you will play a key role in shaping employee experience, strengthening HR processes, and supporting business growth in Japan.Key Responsibilities:Drive HR Operations Excellence
- Manage end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness
- Oversee benefits administration, including social insurance, pensions, and employee welfare programs
- Ensure compliance with Japanese labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies
- Maintain HRIS data integrity and generate reports to support data-driven decisions
- Act as the go-to expert for payroll, tax, and benefits-related queries
- Lead onboarding and orientation programs to deliver a smooth and engaging new hire experience
- Manage contingent workforce processes, including vendor coordination and compliance
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee touchpoints
- Collaborate with managers on resource planning, team effectiveness, and organizational needs
- Provide practical HR guidance on performance management and day-to-day people matters
- Support initiatives that drive employee engagement, retention, and team performance
- Handle employee relations matter with professionalism and sound judgment
- Support performance cycles, including feedback and development planning
- Contribute to talent management initiatives such as succession planning and engagement programs
- Minimum 6 years of HR experience, with strong exposure to payroll, benefits, and onboarding
- Experience in HR business partnering, including employee relations and performance management
- Solid knowledge of Japanese labor laws and employment practices
- Proficiency in HR systems (HRIS) and data management
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to handle confidential information
- Experience in a multinational or fast-paced environment is a plus
