Digital & Platform Services (DPS) powers the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) end to end—bringing together Operations, Technology, Digital, Data, and AI organizations to deliver speed, resilience, and elevate client experience. The DPS Strategic Execution team is at the heart of designing and delivering the strategy for DPS. We sit within a wider CIB Strategy organization, which operates as an internal consulting group within CIB. We run project-based engagements on topics at the top of senior management agendas, translating ideas into decisions and execution.

As a Senior Associate on DPS Strategic Execution, you will play a key role in supporting and contributing to high-impact initiatives that address complex problems and enable change across DPS. You will work closely with senior team members and partners across the organization to contribute to strategy development, operating model and process redesign, and the operationalization of recommendations. This role offers exposure at the intersection of strategy, data, AI, technology, and operations—where innovation meets execution.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Apply structured problem-solving and design thinking to address strategic challenges and develop innovative solutions to transform business and operating models.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to assess current state and define target state; synthesize findings into concise narratives for senior audiences.
  • Assist in designing future state operating models, governance, and processes, in partnership with senior team members, that enable scale, control, and client impact; identify dependencies, risks, and change implications.
  • Plan and execute research through interviews, workshops, and surveys; gather baseline information and clarify follow-up requests with business partners.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and colleagues; collaborate across cross-functional teams to support alignment and timely decision making.
  • Support early-stage execution of approved recommendations, including tracking key actions and risks, and contribute to a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Develop an understanding of innovation in financial services and emerging technologies (e.g., AI/LLM, ML, Agents) to help reimagine the future of DPS.
  • Manage deadlines and timeframes, proactively escalating issues as needed.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • 5+ years in either a premier management consulting firm, investment banking (Mergers & Acquisitions, Coverage, Capital Equity Research), or internal strategy
  • Demonstrated experience with consulting toolkits, a broad range of analytical tools, and structured problem-solving approaches.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and executive-level communication skills (oral and written).
  • Demonstrated project execution focus and ability to deliver high-quality outputs in fast-paced, multi-functional environments.
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to develop subject matter expertise in new topics quickly.
  • Track record of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and entrepreneurial leadership.
  • Advanced Microsoft Suite skills (including Excel and PowerPoint); proficiency in leveraging data and AI tools (e.g., LLMs) to support analysis and decision making
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Math, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Graduate degree in Economics, Finance, Math, Engineering, or related field.
