Our Financial and Strategic Investors (FSI) team provides a full range of capital and financing solutions to clients across wealth and funds management, superannuation, and insurance clients.
We support our clients with innovative and tailored solutions including funds finance, acquisition funding, working capital, capital markets programs (domestic and international DCM), securitisation warehousing, structured and trade finance, bank guarantees and structured asset finance.
Do work that matters
As a Senior Associate in the FSI team, you’ll play a key role in supporting client relationship management and transaction execution across a portfolio of institutional clients. Working closely with Associate Directors and Directors, you’ll help deliver tailored financing solutions, contribute to origination activity and support the execution of new business opportunities.
This role offers strong hands-on exposure to clients, structured transactions and internal stakeholders, and is ideal for an institutional banker looking to deepen their technical capability and client relationships.
Key responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Support relationship management activities, including client preparation, meeting materials and ongoing engagement with Treasury teams
Assist in identifying and developing origination opportunities through market analysis and sector research
Prepare financial analysis, credit submissions and transaction documentation for structured and lending transactions
Coordinate with internal product, risk, legal and operations teams to support deal execution and approvals
Support the identification and management of credit, operational and reputational risks across the client portfolio
Contribute to client presentations, pitch materials and internal papers
We’re interested in hearing from people who have:
Experience supporting client relationships and transactions within Institutional Banking, Corporate Banking or a related financial services environment
Exposure to institutional banking products such as lending, debt capital markets, securitisation, global markets or risk management (Direct exposure to NBFI coverage would be highly desirable.)
Financial analysis, credit writing and presentation skills
A developing understanding of the financial institutions sector and capital markets
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Engineering, Finance or Law would be desirable
