Finance and Accounts, Contracts and Compliance
•    Responsible for book-keeping, monthly closure of books of accounts, preparation of ledger reconciliation statements including inter-company reconciliation.
•    Ensure proper accounting of Opex and CAPEX, Income / Revenue and Expenses etc.
•    Ability to deal with cross country transactions and comply with the statutory requirements.
•    Responsible for various statutory audits and accounts finalisation including for profit and not-for-profit entities, preparation of (standalone) financials and consolidated financials under applicable provisions for the group entities.
•    Responsible for MIS reporting (cashflow, project and entity profitability, practice reports, IDC calculations etc) and preparation of other need-based reports.
•    Supporting in Budgeting activity.
•    Assisting in administering the travel and expense policy.
•    Ensure Regulatory compliance under Income Tax Act, Companies Act, GST Act and other laws as applicable for the group entities:
o    Compliance with Revenue Authorities
o    Compliance under VAT and GST
o    Compliance under Labour laws (PF, PT, social security, pension etc) as applicable
o    Attending notices from various authorities efficiently.
o    Others as applicable, including FEMA
•    Support in preparation of reports, handling audits and compliances required under Client contracts. Review and support vetting/drafting of client and vendor contracts and handling legal matters.
•    Support in Bids/proposals, pricing/FP.
•    Be up to date in all the statutory and compliance matters.
Others
•    Data maintenance – all files relating to Accounts, Banking and other correspondence with various Authorities, Employee personnel files, if any, and the Company’s contract documents and other relevant correspondence:
o    Contract and Vendor Management
o    Preparing statements, work orders and purchase orders etc.
o    Liaison with bankers for various company needs on a time-to-time basis
o    Insurance – Medi-claim and personal accident, taking care of claims and helping employees with Medical Insurance related issues, if any
o    Supporting on employee joining and exit formalities.
•    Conducting employee induction related to Finance and Accounts.
•    Support or contribute to systems / process improvements to routine tasks.
•    Implementing procedures and revisiting the same on a timely basis.
•    Helping on tax planning for employees / company.
•    Preparation of various contracts/agreements.
•    Mentoring junior colleagues.
•    Other assignments, as needed.

Qualifications and Experience
•    Candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA/MCOM/CMA[PK2.1]
•    Should have 4-5 years of related work experience in the field of International development working on grants/contracts/implementation projects at either:
o    a Management Consulting firm;
o    an IT Services Company; or
o    a Chartered Accountancy Firm.
•    Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team setting in a fast-paced environment (verbal and written).
•    Able to connect with people and collaborate with key stakeholders effectively across different geographies and timezones.
•    Attention to detail.
•    Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and schedule work assignments, and to meet deadlines.
•    Strong analytical skills coupled with expert-level Excel/budget software skills, AI adoption & efficiency and the ability to self-review work for reasonableness and accuracy.

•    This position requires successful completion of a reference check and employment verification.
•    The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.

Skills Required

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA/MCom/CMA
