Senior Assoc, Investment Operations Specialist, Global Financial Markets Operations, Group COO

DBS Bank is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Global Financial Markets Operations team in Singapore as a Senior Associate. This role is to provide end to end treasury operation support for Treasury & Markets and its regional centres.

Key Accountabilities:

• Provide end to end settlement support for T&M structured products
• Oversee/manage day to day processing operations and resolves pending aging trades and breaks.
• Monitoring of the life cycle of each structured trade which comprise of periodic fixing, settlement and validation.
• A good understanding on the derivatives products offered by Treasury.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform end to end deal validation for Structured Products: - FX Derivatives in treasury system against source documents. 
• Perform pre settlement confirmation with counterparties.
• Liaising of settlement or fixing with the respective local T&M branches or Wealth Ops
• Monitoring expiration at various cut-off time and triggered for potential payouts.
• Reconciliation of trades btw systems.
• Reading and understanding Termsheets and cross referencing with creation of structured deal calculators.

Job Requirements

• 3-5 years of banking experience, specifically in the Structured Products – FX derivatives products.
• Experience in various operation functions which includes processing, reconciliations, settlements etc 
• Good understanding of the end to end transaction management processes, predominantly in Structured products
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Access or VBA is added advantage.
• Team player, committed, self confidence and an eye for details.
• Willing to work on splits Ops locations
