Senior Architect with façade experience

As our office in Barcelona is growing at a rapid pace and we have a pipeline of interesting projects, we are looking for a Senior Architect with +10 years’ experience and strong expertise in façade design and delivery. 
Join us on our mission, if you are a Senior Architect who has:
 

• Both architectural and technical aspects of the façade design from early stages to construction and completion.
• Extensive experience in façade systems, envelope strategies, and architectural skin development.
• Experience with technical detailing, construction documentation & construction administration, particularly related to façades.
• Ability to resolve technical and design challenges through innovative thinking. 
• Previous experience working on projects in the Middle East.
• Previous experience working on high-rise buildings.
• Solid understanding of materials, façade products, performance requirements, and construction methods.
• Proven experience coordinating façade consultants, engineers, suppliers, and fabricators, ensuring design      intent, performance, and buildability.
• Experience managing broader project coordination, including stakeholders, local authorities, approving bodies, and sub-consultants throughout different project phases.
• Ability to develop design options in collaboration with the design and technical teams.
• Support innovation and the development of bespoke solutions.
• Ability to prepare, develop and edit drawings and models throughout different project stages.

• Ability to input into the project specification and deliverables.

• Provide effective maintenance and replacement strategies.

• Strong proficiency in Rhino, Revit, Vray and Adobe Suite. 
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative in response to direction from project leaders.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working.

Required skills and experience:
 

• Professional qualification as an Architect or an equivalent overseas qualification.
• + 10 years post qualification experience as an Architect.
• Proven experience in façade design and delivery.
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and Spanish - spoken and written.
• International project experience (Middle East is a plus)
