The ADI Power uModule Team is seeking a talented Senior Applications Engineer to play a key role in advancing our uModule business. This position is ideal for an engineer with strong technical expertise, a track record of independent project ownership, and a passion for supporting customers and collaborating across teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical execution for product and application solutions within assigned projects, delivering high-quality designs and robust support for customers.
  • Conduct technical investigations and define specifications for new and existing products, contributing to product development and optimization.
  • Enhance and validate power module performance through rigorous testing, analysis, and iterative improvement.
  • Provide direct technical support to marketing, field teams, and customers, ensuring effective adoption and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and refine simulation models, tools, and circuits, advancing technical excellence within the product line.
  • Create technical documentation and deliver presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers within the project team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MSEE in power electronics.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in designing, building, and testing switching-mode power supplies.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise within a product or functional team.
  • Proficiency with simulation and modeling tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills; able to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in schematic design, PCB layout, simulation, prototyping, and lab evaluation.
  • Familiarity with analog IC design and multiphase converter systems.
  • Experience supporting customer engagements and delivering technical training.
  • Knowledge of embedded programming and communication protocols (e.g., I2C/PMbus).
