As a Senior Application Engineer , you will be responsible for:
- Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements. This work would include mechanical and/or electrical engineering for all products
- Leads analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.
- Communicates across direct organization. Presents to senior leaders (EB and SEB) in specific technical space and on cross functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy.
- Connects the dots across technologies and develop cross-technology solutions; works on cross-functional projects/teams to deliver technology solutions for the business. Communicates across the function in area of expertise
- Presents solutions to customers and advise the benefits that will address customer pain points
- Provide technical guidance to junior application engineers and review their submittals for approval
- Understand Baker Hughes product line and apply value added designs to address customer needs and requirements
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 5 years of experience in Engineering/Technology).
- Have minimum of 7 additional years of experience in Mechanical Component.
- Have minimum of 7 additional years of experience in designing wellhead equipment.
