Position: Senior Application Developer
FT/PT Status: Full-Time
Location: Remote
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field required.
Overview:
Kreative Technologies is looking for a Senior Application Developer to design and build complex features for enterprise applications. You will write high-quality code, guide technical decisions and mentor other developers.
The ideal candidate is an experienced developer who takes ownership and raises the bar for the team. You should be comfortable working across the full stack and solving difficult technical problems.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops and maintains complex application features and integrations.
- Translates requirements into technical designs and estimates.
- Writes clean, secure and well-tested code.
- Leads code reviews and sets development standards.
- Troubleshoots and resolves complex production issues.
- Mentors junior and mid-level developers.
- Works with testers, analysts and leads to deliver releases on schedule.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 7+ years of application development experience.
- Strong experience with Java or another enterprise language such as C# or Python.
- Experience with relational databases, SQL and web services.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines and Agile development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Continually required to use common office equipment including but not limited to computers, phones, scanners and printers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience supporting federal government contracts.
Compensation: $98,112 – $109,013 per year
