About the roleYour primary role as Senior Apple Engineer will be to develop features, maintain our lineup of apps, follow industry trends and make sure that we deliver best in class apps. We are looking for a self-motivated person that is keen on owning and driving their favourite platform.
We're hiring this role in Vienna to work with our Apps & TV team, but we are also open for applications in London, where we have a large Engineering hub. If you're London based, we have an office in Soho where we come together 3 days per week.
Plan, implement, maintain and iterate features of our apps.
Work on our full range of apps - our streaming app MUBI on iOS, tvOS as well as visionOS. and our location based cinema ticket app MUBI GO.
Work with Product Design to bring new features to our apps in a way that feels true to the platform
Work with Data & Analytics to make measurable improvements to our core flows
Work with our Streaming team to deliver a great playback experience
A good grasp of the native landscape in terms of products as well as tech
Strong knowledge of the current Apple stack (Swift, UIKit and SwiftUI)
Interest and hands on experience with the latest AI tooling
Good knowledge of REST APIs and best practices around them
Previous experience with streaming is a big plus
Keen to learn new technologies and apply them across all platforms
Self motivated and a passion to own platforms
Comfortable working in a highly agile, intensely iterative setup
An interest in building polished products on the Apple iOS/tvOS/visionOS
Bonus: Previous experience with video streaming is a plus but not required
