About the Opportunity:
The Senior API Support Engineer is a vital member of the TCC team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing the stability, performance, and security of BTSE’s API platforms. This role blends technical supportincident response, and automation development to improve platform reliability and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve API-related incidents (performance, security, availability).
  • Support application issues across various environments.
  • Detect and respond to incidents, coordinating resolution efforts.
  • Maintain thorough incident records and share learnings.
  • Train teammates through case studies and maintain internal documentation.
  • Provide tech operations support to internal/external teams (including DevOps).
  • Enhance API observability, monitoring, and alerting systems.
  • Drive automation and system improvements to reduce manual workloads.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in API engineering.
  • Solid hands-on experience with API operations and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with REST, WebSockets, cloud environments, and infrastructure automation.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and real-time decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Scripting/programming skills for task automation.

Nice to haves

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure scaling.
  • Knowledge of API security best practices.
  • Experience leading technical initiatives or projects.
