We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join our team.
Requirements:
- Five-year working experience in Android development with a strong focus on designing and building high-quality mobile applications
- Proficiency in Kotlin (Java is a plus) and a deep understanding of Android SDK, frameworks, and development best practices
- Strong experience with Jetpack components, including Compose, ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation, and WorkManager
- Expertise in MVC or MVVM, and other modern architectural patterns
- Solid understanding of multithreading and asynchronous programming
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of dependency injection frameworks (e.g., Dagger, Hilt, Koin)
- Strong background in unit testing and UI testing
- Experience working with Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore, Crashlytics, Analytics, Remote Config, etc.)
- Experience in CI/CD tools (Bitrise, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and deployment processes.
- Hands-on experience with Gradle, optimizing build performance and dependency management.
- Strong understanding of Material Design guidelines and the ability to create intuitive, visually appealing UI/UX
- Familiarity with security best practices in Android development, including secure data storage and encryption techniques
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to analyze and optimize application performance
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility for delivering high-quality software
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science (or similar technical field)
- Level of English: Upper-Intermediate (at least)
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance applications for Android platform
- Work on gradually improving product quality via modularization, continuous refactoring, and testing
- Maintain software documentation (diagrams, code samples, API descriptions, etc.)
- Estimate project scope using different techniques
- Submit mobile apps to store for review and beta testing
- Resolve production issues
- Maintain existing libraries
- Provide continuous integration practices on the projects
- Review design prototypes and participate in tech review design calls
- 3rd party integration
- Collect and share best practices of software development
