About This Role

Reporting to the Associate Director of Tax, you will assist the tax department in all tax functions as needed, primarily Domestic tax compliance and income tax accounting. The Sr Analyst role supports a dynamic tax department that adds value to the overall business through planning and strategic collaboration throughout the organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Preparation of the Company’s consolidated federal, state, and local income tax returns, including gathering data, preparing workpapers, and performing account analysis and documentation
  • Preparation of federal and state tax estimates and extensions
  • Assist team in preparation of quarterly and annual ASC740 work papers
  • Assist in responding to inquiries from tax authorities in connection with tax examinations and/or notices
  • Preparation of various non-income tax returns including sales & use, property, business license, etc.
  • Maintain corporate compliance calendar
  • Assist with other non-recurring domestic compliance or planning projects as they arise.

Who You Are

You are an inquisitive and detail-oriented individual experienced in corporate tax. You are savvy with MS Excel, tax compliance software, and online research tools. You love working with cross-functional stakeholders in a collaborative and dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • 2-4 years of corporate tax experience in public accounting or industry
  • Experience with consolidated corporate federal and state tax return preparation
  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Proficiency in tax compliance software, (Onesource/Go Systems) online research tools, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and work on multiple projects
  • Strong organization and communication skills
