About the Team: The Inbound Transportation Operations team supports the movement of freight across Walmart's transportation network, partnering closely with suppliers, carriers, distribution centers, fulfillment centers, and field operations teams. What You'll Do
- Partner with carries, suppliers, distribution centers, fulfillment centers, and cross-functional stakeholders to support transportation operations and network execution
- Lead resolution of transportation and supply chain exceptions, ensuring timely and effective solutions that minimize disruptions and improve service levels.
- Analyze operational and network performance data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
- Drive initiatives that improve transportation efficiency, network reliability, supplier compliance, and overall supply chain performance.
- Serve as a trusted business partner and liaison between internal and external stakeholders to align operational activities with business objectives.
- Develop and implement scalable process improvements that support productivity, service, cost savings, and operational excellence.
- Support strategic and tactical initiatives designed to enhance the movement of freight across Walmart's supply chain network.
