We are looking for a resourceful and driven professional to join DESRI, based out of the firm’s Hyderabad, India office. The successful candidate will be a part of a small, inclusive, highly skilled team responsible for supporting DESRI’s portfolio of wind, solar and battery projects in an agile environment that values collaboration, thoughtful problem solving, and attention to detail.
What you’ll do day-to-day:
- Manage and administer SharePoint Online environments including Company Hub Sites, Functional Sites, and Project Sites.
- Create and maintain SharePoint sites, document libraries, metadata, content types, and folder structures aligned with organizational standards.
- Manage internal and external user permissions, access requests, and perform periodic access audits to ensure secure collaboration.
- Generate governance, storage, usage, and access reports using PowerShell, Power Automate, and Microsoft 365 reporting tools.
- Manage document lifecycle, retention policies, version control, and information architecture standards across the SharePoint environment.
- Administer Microsoft Purview including DLP, retention labels, sensitivity labels, and compliance policy implementation.
- Automate operational, governance, and reporting tasks using PowerShell scripting and Power Automate workflows.
- Support Microsoft 365 collaboration, governance, and compliance initiatives while troubleshooting SharePoint-related issues and user requests.
- Collaborate with business teams to improve document management processes, optimize site usability, and enforce governance best practices.
Who we’re looking for:
The ideal candidate should hold –
- Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience: 2-4 years of SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 administration experience.
- Strong expertise in SharePoint Online administration, Microsoft 365 governance, permissions management, and document collaboration platforms.
- Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting, Power Automate, and automation of reporting, governance, and administrative workflows.
- Experience administering Microsoft Purview, compliance policies, data governance, reporting, and operational automation within Microsoft 365 environments.
- Experience supporting or working with in-house or custom-built business applications
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communicator with the ability to work across technical and business stakeholders
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert certification and experience with Entra ID / Azure AD and Microsoft Teams administration will be an added advantage.
