Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Information Security Policy Professional to join our team in India. As a key member of our information security team, you will assist the Director in managing and enhancing the Information Security Policy framework, ensuring effective governance, and overseeing the review, update, and approval cycle. Your strong organizational skills, exceptional communication abilities, and project management experience will be crucial in coordinating policy initiatives and ensuring they align with industry standards and regulatory requirements. You will play a vital role in safeguarding our information systems and supporting our security objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Information Security Policy framework.
• Manage the policy review, update, and approval cycle to ensure timely and effective governance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure policies are aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular assessments of security policies to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
• Facilitate the policy approval cycle, ensuring timely updates and communication to relevant stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and support to internal teams on policy interpretation and implementation.
• Develop and deliver security policy training and awareness programs to enhance organizational understanding and compliance.
• Monitor emerging security threats and industry trends to proactively update policies.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of security policies and recommend improvements.
• Manage projects related to policy development and implementation, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to objectives.
• Stay informed about emerging security threats and industry trends to proactively update policies.
• Prepare and present reports on policy status, compliance, and updates to senior management.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are preferred.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 6-9 years of experience in information security policy development and management.
• Proven experience in a governance role within an information security context.
• Demonstrated project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI.

• Strong understanding of information security principles and practices.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Proficiency in using policy management tools and software.
