Job Description
Brookfield’s Data Governance Program was recently established within Brookfield's Risk Management team to create a high-quality single source of truth for fundamental business data, including transactions, investments, properties, and capital pools. This Senior Analyst role will have a rare seat with both direct exposure to the global Real Estate Investment Committee process and the full deal lifecycle as well as hands-on work with the technology systems and teams building and delivering the critical business data, setting the foundation for Brookfield's future AI and data intelligence initiatives. It is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented analyst to gain exposure to Brookfield's global real estate platform through a high-profile enterprise initiative.
This is an execution-focused role — the Senior Analyst will help design and test process and technology improvements, complete in-depth root cause analyses to resolve system and data issues, and support the quality and reliability of information used by senior stakeholders and decision-makers across the globe. The ideal candidate is curious, hardworking, organized and detail-oriented and will be motivated to learn about and enhance our business.
Responsibilities
Support day-to-day program operations: manage the defect/enhancement log, participate in support calls, and track issues to resolution. Validate reported data against source systems to catch discrepancies early.
Translate business needs into structured requirements: lead discovery sessions with stakeholders, document current- and future-state workflows to resolve data quality issues, and flag opportunities for AI and automation.
Design and execute test plans for system enhancements, data updates, and reporting outputs (including Power BI dashboards), building and executing end-to-end test scenarios that catch issues before go-live
Trace master data issues to root cause through data lineage and deep-dive diagnostics, engaging the India-based data quality team as needed for further investigation, remediation, and improvement in data quality flags and KPIs
Maintain core governance artifacts — data definitions, field structures, and business requirements documentation.
Serve as subject matter expert on the systems supporting data governance and the Investment Committee process — including Dealpath, Reltio, Snowflake, and Power BI — fielding inquiries and recommending process improvements.
