The role is responsible for performing and reviewing General Ledger reconciliations in line with NewDay reconciliation policy, developing a detailed understanding of Finance Operations balance sheet accounts and identifying reconciliation risks through performance metrics and outstanding items. Acting as a subject matter expert across reconciliation processes, the role provides guidance to the wider business on queries and process understanding, while working closely with the Finance Systems team to support the ongoing development and administration of the ReconNet reconciliation tool and drive improved automated match rates.
The role delivers value by strengthening financial control, reducing operational risk and helping safeguard Free Cash Flow through robust and consistently applied reconciliation controls. By supporting team capability through training, knowledge sharing and cross‑skilling across NewDay platforms and D2C/MO brands, the Senior Reconciliation Analyst helps build a resilient and efficient reconciliation function.
