About This Role:
As a Senior Analyst, R&D Finance, your role will be essential to perform the month-end accounting support for the Research organization in US. This role will be primarily responsible for preparing monthly journal entries including accruals, prepaid amortizations & reclasses. This role will also provide analysis and preparation of the Research organizations balance sheet account reconciliations. Additionally, this role will assist the Finance Manager, Research in the preparation and distribution of monthly reporting to the Research organization.
What You’ll Do:
- prepare journal entry and postings
- analyze and prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
- assist in account variance analysis (Budget vs Actuals)
- assist in the preparation and distribution of monthly reporting (Financial Scorecards & Actuals)
- assist in ad-hoc reporting requests
- data stewardship and upkeep
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred in Accountancy)
- 3-5 years of professional experience in Accounting/Finance
- Experience in working for SSC/BPO
- Good understanding of US GAAP and IFRS
- Proficiency in Oracle R12 and MS Office (Outlook, Excel)
- Ability to communicate fluently in English.
