The Senior Analyst of Insights and Analytics will leverage coding and data analytics tool expertise to automate standard reporting. They will lead the user interface design to visualize data across commercial functions (e.g., Marketing and Sales) in a manner that provides seamless interaction. Using various statistical and analytical techniques, they will support commercial planning efforts by providing data analysis into critical business questions. Further, the Senior Analyst of Insights and Analytics will support primary market research projects as needed. To be successful in the role, the individual must be able to query large data sets, design analysis and reports that bring insights to the forefront for the end user, have an eye towards detail and ensure quality deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Utilizing SQL and Tableau, create intuitive user interfaces that provide comprehensive overviews of HEPLISAV-B business.
- Recommend and assess reporting process improvements, including software changes.
- Partner with Sales Leadership and Commercial Operations to share design ideas to enhance SalesForce.
- Prepare, interpret, and present analyses on specific business objectives and in response to ad hoc requests using SQL to query large data sets.
- Demonstrate ownership of relevant data sets, encouraging confidence in the data through a clear understanding of data collection methods, business rules and caveats.
- Maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes and operations.
- Design and deploy optimal solutions including sales resources that are innovative and enable the field to optimize customer engagement.
- Manage primary market research projects as needed; own related pharmacovigilance reporting.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering or related field.
- 3-5 years of analytics experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry or consulting firm specializing in Life Sciences.
- High proficiency in analytical tools, including SQL, Excel, and Tableau.
- Knowledge in R or SAS.
- Experience manipulating, analyzing, and visualizing large datasets.
- Expertise in database management.
- Demonstrated ability to structure and conduct analyses to generate actionable strategic insights.
- Experience working with Commercial teams preferred.
- Working knowledge of secondary data sources commonly used for Sales and Marketing analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Ability to sit; stand; walk; reach with arms and hands; lift and move small objects; and use hands to keyboard and perform other office related tasks including repetitive movement of the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- Occasional travel required, as needed.
