Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) at Shure. 


As our Senior Financial Analyst, you will support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis that contribute to informed decision-making and business performance. You will support budgets, forecasts, financial results, and operational insights across multiple functions and geographies, while contributing to the FP&A organization through reporting and analytics, financial systems support, process improvement initiatives, and continuous enhancement of planning and analytical capabilities.


This role will be hybrid from our Niles HQ office.

Responsibilities
  • Support annual budgeting activities across assigned areas including budget preparation, systems coordination, deadline management, and validation of submitted budgets.
  • Prepare month-end reporting packages and analyze financial performance to identify key trends, risks, opportunities, and variances.
  • Provide financial analysis and support to cross-functional stakeholders by translating financial information into actionable business insights that support decision-making.
  • Develop monthly forecasts and planning updates by incorporating business drivers, assumptions, and emerging trends, while supporting alignment on outcomes and expectations.
  • Identify business risks, opportunities, and emerging issues, and develop recommendations that support informed decision-making and business performance.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial reporting, dashboards, analytical models, and business intelligence tools to improve visibility, efficiency, decision-making and reporting automation.
  • Maintain and support financial systems, master data, planning tools, and reporting platforms to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and effective business support.
  • Support the implementation, enhancement, and adoption of financial planning, reporting, and analytics tools and systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve planning, reporting, forecasting, automation, data quality, and process efficiency, and develop recommendations that enhance financial operations and analytical effectiveness.
  • Support special projects, strategic initiatives, and other business priorities as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. MBA is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of progressive FP&A, finance or accounting experience in a complex business environment.  Experience working within a manufacturing or CPG company is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and business performance management.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to synthesize and effectively convey findings to management and functional areas.
  • High level of detail orientation and organization, as well as ability to multi-task and handle multiple concurrent projects.
  • Proven ability to self-motivate in a fast-paced environment, ability to deal with ambiguity, change and a dynamic business environment.
  • Proven ability to develop strong relationships and partnerships with internal customers, peers and effectively manage those relationships.
  • Experience effectively working across multiple departments to complete a project or resolve an organizational challenge.
  • Advanced computer literacy skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Power Point.
  • Experience with SAP, OneStream, Tableau, Power BI, Microsoft Copilot, or similar reporting, planning, and analytics tools preferred, but not required.
  • Able to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to appropriately handle confidential information.
  • Detail-orientated with strong organizational skills.

Base salaries vary based on qualifications, geography, experience, and expertise in each respective discipline. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for the opportunity. The base salary for this position ranges from $86,800 to $138,900 with a target salary of $86,800-$113,000.  If your salary expectations do not align, still apply as we are often flexible on the seniority of posted positions. All positions also include an award-winning benefits package.

Skills Required
