JOB SCOPE & PURPOSE
The Senior Analyst within Decision Sciences provides impactful and insightful analysis and business intelligence to Targetbase clients. He/she has subject-matter expertise in one area of analytics and has a desire to expand his/her applications and capabilities in the area of marketing analytics.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delivers impactful analyses of assigned projects with high quality, on time, and within estimated hours
- Provides business and customer insights based on data analysis and report/trend monitoring
- Develops mastery of Targetbase’s key analytical competencies and tools
- Solves problems by proactively thinking through approaches to the data or analysis based on the objectives of the assignment
- Participates as a collaborative team member, holding himself/herself and the team accountable for the work
- Puts the client first, anticipating, understanding, and meeting/exceeding client expectations
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Minimum of 3 years (post graduate) of applied analytics experience
- Experience in some or all of the following areas of marketing analysis: segmentation, predictive analytics, digital analytics, measurement, business intelligence, and/or market research
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
KNOWLEDGE & ABILITY
- Intermediate-level knowledge of analysis techniques
- Proficient with SQL, Python, R or other data mining tools
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Effective communication skills
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Overtime may be necessary
- Some travel may be required
- ***We are a hybrid company working 3 days a week in office and 2 days a week at home. Candidates must live in the Irving, TX area and willing to be in office on required days
