RSM’s Brisbane office is growing rapidly, and our Corporate Tax team is looking for a Senior Analyst who wants more than a narrow compliance role. This is an opportunity to work with great clients, learn from experienced tax professionals, contribute to a high-performing local team, and have a lot of fun along the way.

We’re looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Corporate Tax team in Brisbane. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys technical work, likes solving problems, and wants to build a career in a team where your contribution will be noticed and rewarded.
You’ll work across corporate tax compliance and advisory matters for a broad client base, including large private groups, inbound and outbound businesses, multinationals and listed entities. You’ll get exposure to complex tax issues, direct client work, mentoring from experienced Partners and other senior leaders and the opportunity to continue your development into a well-rounded corporate tax professional as part of a highly supportive and engaging team.
What you’ll be doing
Prepare income tax returns for corporate entities
Research tax issues and draft technical advice and papers
Prepare tax effect accounting work papers
Deliver in-house tax training sessions
Build a strong understanding of key tax concepts, including:
Assessable Income, Allowable Deductions, Capital Allowances
Fringe Benefits Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Loss Provisions
Transfer Pricing, Withholding Tax, Tax Effect Accounting
Develop knowledge in advanced areas such as:
Tax Consolidation, Tax Structuring, Due Diligence, Foreign Income
About you:
You’re a motivated tax professional with 2–3 years’ experience and a genuine interest in corporate tax. You enjoy getting into the detail, but you can also step back and think about what the answer means for the client. You communicate clearly, take pride in producing quality work and like being part of a team that shares knowledge rather than guards it. You are curious and want to continue to build your business and technical confidence in a safe, fun and supportive environment.
Essential:
Degree in Business, Commerce, or Finance with an Accounting major
2–3 years’ experience in a similar role
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
Desirable:
Double degree in Business/Commerce/Finance/Law with Accounting major
Commencement or near completion of CA or equivalent
