Job Description
Ameriprise Financial has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst, Capital Markets Reporting! The position would provide analytical support for Capital Markets Solutions organization via execution and maintenance of reporting infrastructure. Extract, aggregate, and analyze financial data and performance measurements for management review and action. Collaborate with internal and external business partners to support and strengthen controls environmentKey Responsibilities
Complete regular reports that support analysis of underlying risks in assets and liabilities for all product-based hedging programs. Ensure accurate and appropriate report design. Coordinate the resolution and reporting of issues, as they arise. Provide detailed and complete understanding of drivers that influence business performance.
Build and support daily operations of Capital Markets Solutions (CMS) team through production of risk reports and performance analysis with the opportunity to lead daily risk meetings. Work closely with trade desk, investment accounting, and CMS analytic team to ensure accuracy of information.
Collaborate with teams to prepare materials for regular risk committee and board meetings.
Support control environment through the execution and management of regular SOX controls, while offering support and key resource knowledge to internal and external auditing partners.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent
1-3 years experience performing quantitative analysis
Strong relationship and communication skills in working with colleagues and influencing customers on recommendations and analysis results
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in math, physics, economics or a quantitative field of study
Demonstrated financial understanding and data analysis capability.
Experienced in developing data-driven conclusions and recommendations.
Ability to work in an environment with multiple priorities.
Ability to work independently; self-starter.
Strong relationship and communication skills in working with colleagues, influencing team members on recommendations and analysis results.
In-depth knowledge of business operations and processes with ability to articulate these processes to others.
Information management competence including desktop application and data modeling skills.
In-Office Collaboration
We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together, in-person, is foundational to how we achieve results. Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $76,300 - $104,900/ year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
