As the Senior Analyst - Business Intelligence (Business Analyst), you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end delivery of reporting and analytics solutions that support strategic and operational business objectives. You will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, Enterprise Applications teams, and BI development teams to ensure reporting solutions are effectively designed, developed, tested, and deployed.

In addition to providing regular and ad-hoc reporting and analytical support, you will lead business requirements gathering, process analysis, dashboard strategy, KPI development, data quality validation, and user acceptance testing activities. You will own the reporting lifecycle from business intake through production deployment while ensuring solutions meet business expectations, adhere to enterprise standards, and deliver measurable business value.


Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze data pertaining to the SBU, including national and local market size, customer behavior, competitive advantages, and overall SBU business performance.
  • Execute regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, scorecards, and presentations to support business leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Build detailed presentations including data analysis reports, visualizations, charts, graphs, industry evaluations, and performance metrics using Power BI and other reporting tools.
  • Lead discovery sessions and requirements gathering workshops with business stakeholders to develop comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business processes supported by reports and dashboards and ensure reporting solutions align with business objectives.
  • Create, document, maintain, and continuously enhance BRDs, functional specifications, process flows, user stories, business rules, KPI definitions, and reporting requirements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, Enterprise Applications teams, Data Engineers, and BI Developers throughout the reporting lifecycle.
  • Own the end-to-end delivery of reporting and analytics solutions from business intake through deployment and adoption.
  • Create initial report and dashboard mockups, wireframes, and visual representations to facilitate stakeholder alignment and solution design.
  • Identify, document, and validate Data Integrity (DI) and Data Quality (DQ) rules during requirements gathering, solution design, and report development activities.
  • Identify source systems, data dependencies, and end-to-end data flows required to support reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Review reporting workfiles and dashboards before User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate user experience, dataset completeness, business logic, calculations, and reporting accuracy.
  • Conduct detailed reviews with development teams to ensure all BRD requirements have been satisfied prior to Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Develop UAT strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and detailed UAT scripts in collaboration with business stakeholders during the BRD creation process.
  • Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing activities, manage testing results, track defects, and obtain business sign-off before deployment.
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs), business metrics, and measurement methodologies that improve visibility, accountability, and operational decision-making.
  • Promote and champion adoption of new reports, dashboards, KPIs, and analytics capabilities across the organization.
  • Conduct research and data mining to identify emerging market opportunities, reporting enhancements, and business intelligence solutions that drive business value.
  • Proactively analyze existing reports and dashboards to identify opportunities for optimization, standardization, automation, consolidation, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify reporting synergies across current and future initiatives and recommend solutions that maximize business value while reducing duplication.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree required; Masters Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of data analytics experience
  • 3+ years of creating executive level reports
  • 3+ years of establishing KPI’s and building processes to manage them
  • 3+ years of implementing process improvements and change management
  • 3+ years of experience in a large complex company with multiple ERP’s
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel and Access
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Power BI, Power Apps. Power Automate
  • Advanced knowledge in creating executive level dashboards, reports, including graphs and charts
  • Strong detail orientation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple concurrent projects and deliverables
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data
  • Strong process and data mapping skills preferred
  • Experience with data validation on large datasets preferred
  • Experience in supply chain, distribution and/or logistics functions strongly preferred
  • Ability to travel 0% - 25%
