We're hiring an experienced Senior Analyst to join our customer & operations data team on an initial 6 month contract, with strong potential for extension.
This role sits at the intersection of analytics, visualisation and AI. You will help shape how data is understood and consumed across the business, creating trusted datasets, intuitive semantic structure, and AI-enabled solutions that allow stakeholders to answer their own questions with confidence.
This role would suit a commercially minded analyst who enjoys solving business problems through data, is excited by emerging AI technologies and wants to help define the future of analytics in a rapidly evolving environment.
Required Experience:
- 5+ years experience working as a Senior Analyst, Analytics Consultant, or similar data-focused role
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to analyse and interpret complex datasets
- Experience designing analytical data models, semantic layers, metrics and business definitions
- Strong understanding of self-service analytics principles and data governance
- Experience partnering with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
- Hands-on exposure to AI and LLM-powered analytics tools, with a strong interest in how AI can enhance decision-making and productivity
- Experience working with cloud-based platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving mindset and curiosity around behaviour, business performance, and data-driven decision making
- Familiarity with dbt, SQLMesh, or similar transformation frameworks
Key responsibilities & duties include:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand key questions, challenges, and decision-making needs
- Design and improve semantic layers, metrics, and business definitions that enable self-service analytics
- Test AI-self serve analytical experiences, enabling stakeholders to interact with data using natural language
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive analysis and reporting workflows using AI tools
- Improve data quality, documentation, metadata, and governance to ensure data remains trustworthy and accessible
- Contribute to the evolution of AI strategy, helping define what governance should be in place
Desirable Experience:
- Experience building stakeholder facing AI self-service analytics capabilities
- Experience working with customer, loyalty, digital or operational datasets
- Experience using AI tools to improve analytical productivity and insight generation
