Our team culture emphasizes technical excellence, collaborative problem-solving, and continuous learning. We balance individual ownership with team support, ensuring both product success and personal growth.
In this role, responsibilities may include:
- Lead an Analog IC design team (typically 3-5 designers) with product ownership and responsibility from definition to release to manufacturing
- Design, simulate, and verify analog and mixed-signal circuits
- Make assignments for team members, provide design guidance as needed, develop schedules and monitor progress throughout the project
- Evaluate intermediate and final results of projects during the design phase and during silicon evaluation, to ensure accomplishment of technical objectives for performance, power, area, and reliability
- Keep up-to-date on state-of-the-art design architectures and propose changes and new design techniques for even better designs
- Write publications/presentations for external and TI internal conferences as well as writing patent applications
- Collaborate with physical design teams, providing layout guidance and reviewing implementations to optimize performance, matching, and parasitic effects
- Collaborate with Design Verification teams during the pre-PG phase of a project to ensure completion of all technical tasks before PG
- Partner with systems engineers, applications engineers, and marketing to develop product specifications, datasheets, and application notes that meet customer needs
- Collaborate with validation, product engineering and test engineering teams to enable successful transfer to production
- Interface with customer and/or TI field teams to understand system requirements, resolve technical issues, and provide design support
- Actively participate in hiring, developing and evaluating personnel to ensure efficient operation and growth of the individuals into future leaders
