Salary: Rs. 5 lakh - Rs. 20 lakh (depending on experience, including bonus)
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI/ML Engineer to lead the development of cutting-edge Generative AI applications and contribute to open-source initiatives. You will drive innovation in areas like natural language processing (NLP), vector databases, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, working with technologies such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, and large language models (LLMs). If you are passionate about building scalable AI solutions and mentoring the next generation of engineers, this role is for you.
Generative AI Development:
● Design and build end-to-end AI solutions using LangChain, LlamaIndex, and custom NLP models.
● Implement RAG systems, optimizing workflows for data retrieval and text generation.
● Fine-tune large language models (LLMs) using frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
Open-Source Contribution:
● Contribute to the development of open-source AI tools (LangChain, LlamaIndex), and work with the AI/ML community to improve these frameworks.
● Advocate for and lead internal open-source efforts by contributing code, documentation, and research findings.
AI/ML Engineering:
● Build and manage vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Milvus, Weaviate) for efficient search and retrieval applications.
● Work with LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere) to develop scalable AI services.
● Ensure AI systems are performant, scalable, and optimized for cloud-based environments.
Cloud & Infrastructure:
● Deploy and maintain AI models on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), using tools such as AWS SageMaker or GCP AI Platform.
● Design and optimize large-scale ML model deployments with fault tolerance and scalability in mind.
Mentorship & Leadership:
● Mentor and guide junior engineers and interns, providing technical leadership in AI/ML.
● Conduct code reviews, lead troubleshooting efforts, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
Key Requirements / Minimum Requirements:
● 8+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a focus on NLP, machine learning models, and Generative AI.
● Strong experience with Python and AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and working with vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Weaviate, Chroma).
● Must have contributed to one or more open-source projects.
● Expertise with cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure), including AI/ML services like SageMaker, and deploying scalable applications.
● Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
● AWS/GCP/Azure certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning) are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
● Experience with real-time AI applications and hybrid AI architectures.
● Strong understanding of RAG systems, LLM embeddings, and advanced search technologies.
