As a Senior Member of the Innovation team, you will interface across all areas of the company: partnering directly with Marketing, Sales, PMO, GTM, Delivery, and Operations to build solutions that leverage genAI to improve efficiency and reduce toil across the company. This is not a research role. This is a shipping role.
Think early-stage startup engineer inside a growing, profitable consulting firm. You need deep technical curiosity, effective technical judgment and taste, cross-discipline skill sets, and the ability to pick up new languages and frameworks with support from passionate technologists and a deep bench of AWS experience. We are looking for someone who classifies themselves as a "builder," has great empathy for users, leaves their ego at the door, and is energized by developing enterprise-grade, secure, production genAI tools and services.
Location: LATAM 100% Remote. Working hours are based on the US Pacific Time Zone. Minimum 6-hour overlap

Key Responsibilities:
You will design, build, and operate internal tools and services such as:
• Workflow automation - Event-driven systems that eliminate manual processes across commercial operations, delivery, and managed services
• GenAI-powered applications - Production-grade tools using LLMs, RAG architectures, and agentic patterns to augment or replace human-intensive knowledge work
• Internal platform capabilities - APIs, data pipelines, and integrations that connect the companies business systems and unlock new automation possibilities
• Solution accelerators - Reusable components and patterns that can eventually be packaged and delivered to customers
• Observability and operational tooling - Monitoring, alerting, and reliability infrastructure for the services the team ships
Required Qualifications:
- Application development - Experience architecting and building complex, eventdriven, data-oriented business applications (preferably in Python or equivalent OOP language; polyglot preferred, functional background strongly valued)
- Desire to work across languages - Willingness and ability to pick up new programming languages and technologies as needed
- Modern API design - How to effectively design, deploy, and evolve applications at scale with third-party dependencies (REST, GraphQL, event-driven patterns)
- Security-first mindset - Passionate about user and data security; builds with security as a foundational concern, not a bolt-on
- Data management - Working with databases (SQL and NoSQL), migrations, data analysis, synchronization flows, and ETL. Must know SQL well and have experience working with multiple data sources in complex scenarios
- Cloud (AWS) - Has cloud experience and good AWS working knowledge. Does not need to be an expert; we will support and train up.
- Testing - Experience writing and building testing frameworks (e2e, smoke, integration, unit). If not deeply experienced, can speak clearly about philosophy and approach, particularly as it applies to genAI systems

Skills Required
- Experience architecting and building complex, event-driven, data-oriented business applications, preferably with Python or an equivalent object-oriented language.
- Willingness and ability to learn new programming languages and technologies as needed.
- Experience designing, deploying, and evolving scalable applications using REST, GraphQL, and event-driven patterns.
- Security-first approach to user and data security.
- Strong SQL knowledge and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, migrations, data analysis, synchronization flows, ETL, and multiple complex data sources.
- Cloud experience and working knowledge of AWS.
- Experience building testing frameworks covering end-to-end, smoke, integration, and unit testing, or the ability to clearly explain testing philosophy for generative AI systems.
