To bring our vision to life, we work closely with our partners to unlock the transformative power of generative AI. Our Customer Team empowers them by leveraging Aleph Alpha’s sovereign solution stack, ensuring they can harness AI’s full potential with confidence and security.
As our Senior AI Frontend Engineer, you will bridge the gap between theoretical AI models and practical, scalable solutions tailored to specific business needs of our customers. You will work closely with Engineering and Product to help them shape a stable production environment.
Your responsibilities

Architect and develop complex user-facing web applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Set and uphold high coding standards, best practices, and performance optimizations to drive code quality and system efficiency.

Lead debugging and problem-solving efforts, identifying and resolving frontend issues to deliver a seamless user experience.

Design and implement robust automated testing strategies for frontend components, ensuring stability and minimizing regressions.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Design teams to translate business objectives into intuitive and engaging user experiences.

Champion responsive design principles to create seamless, accessible, and high-performing applications across multiple devices and screen sizes.

Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence within the team.
Your profile

Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, along with HTML and CSS.

Solid expertise in modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js or React.js, with experience in building responsive and high-performance web applications.

Vast skills in Python for AI/ML integration and the ability to incorporate AI models into frontend applications.

Proficiency with Git, version control, and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress).

Solid experience in customer-facing technical projects or solution implementation.

Excellent problem-solving skills and experience managing complex projects throughout their life cycle.

Solid understanding of Machine Learning concepts and algorithms.

Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in German is highly preferred.
