About the project:
Our customer is the European online car market with over 30 million monthly users, with a market presence in 18 countries. The company is now merging with a similar company in Canada and needs support on this way. As a Senior AI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online car markets and enhancing the user experience for millions of car buyers and sellers.
Please note that this is a short-term position, lasting for one month only.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience with OpenAI APIs or conversational AI systems.
- Experience with GraphQL, REST
- Strong JavaScript / TypeScript as well as Full-stack background (Node.js / Java - TypeScript preferred)
- Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of OpenAI app integrations, GPT models, and function calling.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in distributed teams.
- English level - Upper-intermediate or above
Would be a plus:
- Experience building custom GPTs or using vector databases (RAG).
- Background in automotive marketplaces or search/recommendation systems.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering and conversational UX.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and launch the client’s ChatGPT integration using OpenAI’s latest tools and APIs.
- Connect and expose the client’s GraphQL/REST APIs to ChatGPT.
- Work with product and design teams on conversational user experiences.
- Ensure performance, security, and compliance of integrations.
- Deploy, test, and monitor solutions using AWS and GitHub Actions CI/CD.
