What is this position about?  

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer with proven experience in designing and developing cutting-edge AI solutions. As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for driving the architecture, design, and implementation of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) applications. You will be working in a dynamic environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful AI-driven products. 

• Lead the development and implementation of RAG applications, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and high performance. 

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to define AI-driven product features and solutions. 

• Design and maintain AI models, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with existing architectures. 

• Guide and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical direction and best practices. 

• Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth integration of AI components into the overall system. 

• Optimize AI systems for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency on GCP. 

• Stay updated on the latest AI and machine learning research, methodologies, and tools. 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Senior AI Engineer, with a strong track record of designing and deploying RAG applications. 

• Proficiency in Python and deep knowledge of AI frameworks (LlamaIndex, LangChain, etc.). 

• Extensive experience with GCP, particularly AI and machine learning services. 

• Solid understanding of AI model deployment, optimization, and integration into production systems. 

• Experience mentoring a team of engineers. 

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex environments with minimal formal procedures. 

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 

Preferred: 

• Experience with large-scale AI systems and data pipelines. 

• A background in natural language processing (NLP) or information retrieval.

You will need excellent written and verbal English for clear and effective communication with the team. 

How much experience must I have? 

In order to thrive in this role, you must have at least 5+ years of experience in similar roles.
