Senior AI Cloud Operations EngineerIntroduction

Analog Devices, Inc. is looking for a Senior AI-Cloud Operations Engineer to join our Software Tools and Platforms team. This is an opportunity to join a growing team that is leading the design, development, and delivery of cloud-hosted services and applications for our customers. The successful candidate will help us build foundational systems that improve developer and customer experiences alike, with an emphasis on leveraging AI to optimize cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor Cloud Infrastructure: Oversee the performance of cloud infrastructure and applications, ensuring optimal operation and uptime.
  • Automate Operational Processes: Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline operational tasks and enhance efficiency.
  • AI-Driven Operations: Design, implement, and maintain AI-powered solutions for predictive monitoring, anomaly detection, and automated incident response to proactively manage cloud environments.
  • Security Best Practices: Ensure adherence to security protocols and best practices across all cloud operations.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Management: Manage and develop Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to facilitate seamless software delivery.
  • Incident Management: Lead incident triage, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to resolve operational issues swiftly.
  • Monitoring and Alerting Systems: Build and enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively detect and resolve issues.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to understand application requirements and optimize cloud resources accordingly.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in cloud operations and automation, with a strong background in managing cloud environments.
  • Cloud Expertise: Proficient in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Microsoft Azure, including experience with Access Control, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Control Tower.
  • Programming Skills: Strong coding abilities in languages such as Python, TypeScript, or Go for automation tasks.
  • AI/ML Familiarity: Experience integrating or supporting AI/ML solutions in cloud environments (e.g., using AWS SageMaker, Azure Machine Learning, or open-source frameworks for operational analytics) 
  • Monitoring Tools: Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch, GuardDuty, Security Hub.
  • Security Knowledge: Familiarity with security and compliance practices in cloud environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar.
  • Team Leadership: Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading technical initiatives.
