Job Description

We are looking for a Senior AEM Developer responsible for supporting our Adobe AEM platform and developing enterprise-level digital experiences. This role’s primary responsibility will be to oversee every part of the AEM tech stack and to design/develop all layers of our applications. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product delivery is essential.

Key Accountabilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain websites and custom applications for the Adobe AEM platform

  • Work with other developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.

  • Follow web standards, governance, and provide input and oversight regarding applications development and change management methodologies.

  • Align site design with industry standards, best practices, device and browser support

  • Develop positive customer relationships which make it possible to influence positive change and contribute to collaboration in defining and implementing IT solutions.

  • Actively manage our AEM environments to ensure a healthy and resilient system

  • Diagnose and solve technical problems related to all our AEM environments and the components that run on them

  • Modernize and update legacy applications.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field

  • 5+ years experience with web application development (front and backend)

  • 3+ years of experience with AEM Sites and Assets version 6 or above

  • Experience with custom component and servlet development

  • Deep knowledge of the AEM filesystem, node types, and package manager

  • Familiarity with the AEM archetypes, core components, and ACS Commons

  • Good understanding of the end-to-end content lifecycle, web content management, content publishing / deployment, and delivery processes.

  • Comfortable with Linux and Apache web server for AEM Dispatcher configuration

  • Experience with Cloud Manager and AEM as a Cloud Service

  • Understanding of the internal AEM APIs and query builder

  • Strong Web technology skill set, such as HTML, CSS, Java Script, Bootstrap, and Angular

  • Hands-on experience with the Azure cloud platform and related devOps process and automation / AWS experience is a plus
