We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, and motivated individual to join our site in Yeovil as a Sr Advanced Project Engineer. You will be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Aerospace. You will be working on complex aerospace engineering projects across a variety of remits including Environmental Control Systems (ECS), Hydraulics, and Life Support Systems (LSS).

Control Systems develops the thermal and motion control systems that help aircraft take off, land safely and protect the people on board. With more than 10 million passengers per day flying on aircraft equipped with our products and more than 75% of commercial flights beginning with our engine start systems, Control Systems reaches farther across the aviation industry than most people realize.
Key Responsibilities
- Create project plans, schedules, and determine milestones to customer expectations using earned value metrics
- Monitor and maintain project plans, ensure focus is maintained to milestone adherence to ensure products are delivered on time
- Create and monitor the progress of work packages for internal suppliers to support technical and schedule adherence.
- Build internal and external customer relationships throughout projects to ensure completion
- Ensuring that projects run within cost, quality, and time metrics
- Management of requirements, including requirements validation and the appropriate allocation of requirements
- Co-ordinate and Lead Design Reviews in accordance with HAY procedures

Key requirements and skills
- HND/HNC/Degree in mechanical engineering/aerospace
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- A minimum of three years’ project management experience in an engineering, aerospace, safety-critical, or similarly regulated environment, with demonstrable delivery experience across the full product lifecycle from conception to commissioning
- Previous experience of using Microsoft Project, or a similar project forecasting system
