As a Senior Advanced Electronic Hardware Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the design and development of electronic advanced hardware solutions for our process automation products that consist of design, fabricate, integrate and deploy test equipment to different manufacturing facilities. Your expertise in electronic hardware engineering will contribute to the success of our cutting-edge technologies and solutions that help our customers optimize their industrial processes.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on demanding projects and work with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative electronic hardware solutions. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will be crucial in ensuring the performance, reliability, and quality of our Test equipment used for the manufacturing of Water, Gas and Electricity meters.
Responsibilities- Design and develop advanced electronic hardware solutions for test equipment to calibrate and ensure product Quality.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define test equipment requirements and specifications (Will work w/ R&D function, software development) for the proper design of test and calibration equipment.
- Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate new technologies for electronic hardware development.
- Perform electronic hardware testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Electronic hardware design and development, preferably in test equipment and automation industry
- Minimum of 5 years of knowledge of analog, digital & RF circuit design
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools
- Proficient in using simulation and modeling tools for Electronic hardware design
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Willingness to travel to contract manufacturing or Honeywell sites as required. (~ 15% )

- Experience with FPGA and DSP design
- Experience designing test equipment used in Manufacturing
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus)
- Design of circuitry intended to test, communicate or calibrate product at PCBA or Final product level.
