Sr. Ads Business Analyst
Location: New Delhi
We’re seeking a Senior Ads Business Analyst with 3+ years of experience in yield optimization, programmatic advertising, and data analysis. In this role, you will work on providing data analysis as it relates to programmatic advertising strategies to maximize ad revenue and improve overall yield performance.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor programmatic performance to understand impact from optimizations and assist the
team with ad-hoc analysis to maximize ad revenue.
• Analyze ad inventory and performance metrics to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
for optimization.
• Conduct competitive analysis and market research to stay informed about industry trends and
best practices in digital advertising.
• Work closely with the Programmatic Yield Squad to ensure seamless ad delivery and
troubleshoot any issues related to ad serving or yield management.
• Utilize data-driven insights to make recommendations for inventory allocation, targeting
strategies, and ad product development.
• Generate comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate yield performance, key
insights, and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior members, fostering a culture of continuous learning
and development within the team.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, computer science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in yield optimization, programmatic advertising, and data analysis, preferably at a publisher.
• Strong understanding of programmatic advertising platforms such as Google Ad Manager, SSPs and Ad Exchanges.
• Strong understanding of digital media metrics (e.g., impressions, clicks, conversions) and familiarity with ad revenue models (CPM, CPC, CPA) is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and calculations.
• Experience in BI tools such as Domo, Tableau, Looker or Power BI.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and insights to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams and drive consensus in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
