POSITION SUMMARY
Sony Corporation of America (SCA) is seeking a Senior Administrator to join Accounts Payable division. This position will report to the Accounts Payable Manager and will be responsible to reimburse SCA employees for their expenses report via Concur and all entries related, maintain and develop the T&E policy, and be the main contact and administrator with the Credit Card companies.
This position will be on a Hybrid schedule with 2-3 days per week in our NYC location.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Audit and process employee expense reports based on the company’s policy within the approved timeframe.

Safeguard SCA Expense Reimbursement Policy and provide suggestions to make changes whenever is needed.

Act as main focal of point with credit cards companies. This entails submitting of new credit card applications, making sure the new cards are delivered, ensuring the credit cards are synced in Concur and the cancellation of cards when needed.

Conduct a monthly analysis of employee accounts with delinquent payments or credits balances.

Work with the Sony Global Service Desk to assist employees with Concur login issues and the onboarding of new employees.

Provide feedback to manager on ways to enhance or streamline the Expense Report process.

Work closely with the SCA Human Resources Department to ensure executive expenses are recorded correctly.

Cross train in invoice processing with Accounts Payable team.

Assist SCA Accounts Payable Manager on numerous projects and analysis.

Perform quarterly interactive SCA Expense Summits for employees.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION
Your qualifications and experience should include:

2-3 years of experience in the accounting field

Experience with Concur & SAP
-
Bachelor’s degree preferred from an accredited Institution in accounting or finance

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite, especially Excel
-
Superior verbal communication and writing skills

Excellent problem solving and multi-tasking skills
-
Adaptable and willing to work in a changing environment where continued process improvement is expected

Superior attention to detail

Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills

Ability to work on multiple simultaneously, and in both independent and collaborative environments

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $65,000 to $70,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
