We are seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist based in our Milton Office to join the Corporate Finance team. This is a fully on-site position.

Your future team:
You will be reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager along with two other team members.
What you will be doing:
The AR Representative, prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable. Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Efficient support to Business area supported by Credit Manager
Accounts Receivable control and reporting for Rockwool Group (legal entities)
Support Sales & Customer Service team as and when requested
Support the internal customers in providing all information to stakeholders in timely manner
Support correct, timely and reliable consolidation of financial reporting data for its legal entities, Business Units, segments, and Departments in accordance with Rockwool Guidelines
Apply and post payments to customer accounts on daily basis from various sources such as EFT/ACH/Wire, credit & debit card payments and unapplied cash.
Respond to customer inquiries, maintain good customer relations, and perform root cause analysis.
Initiate professional contact with internal customer service representatives and external customers as needed to support AR initiatives.
Approve shipments (Release orders) based on payment and credit history
Monitor customer accounts relative to their assigned credit limits
Analyze D&B credit reports to assess customer’s credit worthiness
Contact credit references, and/or obtain and review customer credit history through the credit check systems
Contacts customers with delinquent accounts by phone, fax, email, and regular mail to collect customer balances.
Reconcile customer account discrepancies, over/under payments, credits, etc. & Record adjustment entries on customer accounts as required.
Responsible for month-end activities such as customer account clearing, account clean-up and reconciliation. Prepare various month-end reports such as AR ageing schedule and send monthly statements to customers.
What you bring:
Diploma or Certificate in accounting, finance, or business.
Minimum 3 years of experience as AR representative or Credit & Collections
Written and spoken English language to a high professional business level
A proven ability to maintain communication with internal and external customers on different organization level
Able to work under time pressure; being continuously alert for accuracy on numbers and facts.
Proficient in MS Office (MS Excel expert level, Power Point), SAP FI/CO module.
Performing required monitoring of existing customer portfolio and identifying emerging risks
Maintaining company credit exposures within set risk bearing limits
Practice due diligence
Strong attention to detail and ability to notice discrepancies in data
