At Kronos Research, a (Sr.) Accounting/Finance Manager acts as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, coordinating statutory and tax audits, managing accruals, payroll accounting, and fixed assets while ensuring compliance with Taiwan Tax Law and Company Law.
Responsibilities
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Oversee all aspects of finance and accounting functions to ensure timely and accurate submission of regular reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of monthly reports/packages, annual tax returns, and transfer pricing reports.
- Main contact window for internal and external stakeholders, driving the fieldwork of statutory and tax audits, and collaborating with different units to gather accounting records.
- Timely deliver monthly reports/packages, annual tax returns, and transfer pricing reports, ensuring accuracy.
- Serve as the main contact for tax inquiries and transfer pricing reports from tax authorities, reviewing any potential tax risks.
- Manage the accrual, payroll accounting, and fixed asset sub-ledger to ensure accurate monthly closing.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks or projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or above degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- 8 years of experience in Accounting or related roles, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Familiar with Taiwan Tax Law and Company Law.
- Experienced in managing financial operations for multiple entities in different regions.
- Agency and start-up experience is preferred.
- Business proficiency in written and verbal English.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently with cross-functional stakeholders.
