The final candidate will play a key role in maintaining the company’s books according to local regulations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting across multiple entities.
This role involves a full spectrum of accounting-related tasks, and your mission is to ensure the successful posting, closing, and reporting of accounting-related items.
What You’ll Do:- Perform and review reconciliation of GL accounts
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Prepare and reconcile balances according to local regulations
- Ensure compliance with local deadlines and reporting requirements
- Support consolidation of financials according to US GAAP and local regulations
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and stakeholders
- Identify process improvements and support automation initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA / CA / RA or equivalent qualification is highly desirable)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably within a multinational company
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting (US GAAP knowledge is a plus)
- Experience with Oracle (NetSuite) or other ERP/accounting systems
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Spanish
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being autonomous
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach
- Experience or familiarity with AI tools and automation in accounting processes is considered a plus
