- Assist with the quarterly/annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
- Prepare and process monthly payroll
- Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports in compliance with GAAP
- Prepare and review month-end closing journal entries, including resolving discrepancies and ensuring entries are in accordance with US GAAP
- Assist in preparing internal and external financial reporting schedules
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and adjustments
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff, fostering their professional development and growth
- Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, offering insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance the efficiency, accuracy and overall effectiveness of the accounting department
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data for decision-making.
- Preparing and filing monthly GST returns
- Deduction of TDS and Preparing TDS return
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organization skills
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools such as [List relevant software/tools]
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Leadership skills and experience in mentoring and supervising junior staff
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
