Position is responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting. This position will be responsible for maintaining procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. This position supports tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger reconciliation preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA or Masters’ degree is preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of recent experience in the financial reporting/general ledger area
  • Experience in accounting for nonprofit preferred (additional experience working in the affordable housing and/or property management industries desirable)
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a private vehicle for day-to-day job performance

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance

  • Five years of recent experience in the financial reporting/general ledger area
